I love teaching for many many reasons. The main reason is my students. I teacher preschool and we are the foundations really early on for their learning. They are sponges! Itās great to see how they memorize songs so quickly, pick up so quickly and remember things so easily. Watching them learn and interact with each other is great! Most of them were Covid Babies so itās great to see them have this exposure and experience.
As a homeschool mom/teacher, my favorite part is being able to see when my kiddo grasps something new for the first time. I love being able to watch him learn so much.
I love the teaching for so many reasons. The students
are amazing ! To enrich the life of a child is an amazing job to have. I wouldnāt change it for anything. I have been doing this for over 22 years and it never gets old. Itās the job that keeps on giving. I love what I do regardless of pay and treatment!
The reason I love teaching is I really care about the kids. Especially the students that most teachers have a hard time with. I never listen to the complaints other teachers have about certain students coming to my classroom on the first day. Every student has a clean slate!! Iāve been teaching for a long time and every child is different and behaves differently at different points in there lives. When you come in my class you are my child and Iām going to do everything I can as if you were mine own. I remember this young man who was in my six grade class. He was always in trouble, suspended and never did any of his schoolwork I would make him stay after school with me to make sure his work was completed. One day I was getting in my car and a car pulled beside me. It was the student from six grade all grown up. I didnāt even recognize him. He is a EMT. He is married and has 1 child. He said if it wasnāt for you, I would not have survived. You kept me off the streets and showed me I could learn. Iām not dumb!!! I said I always knew you were smart but you didnāt believe it. I did!! Iām so proud of you!! He gave me a hug and went on his way.
I would like to nominate my sister, Chavone. She is a middle school science teacher at an all girls school and a cheerleading coach. The students love her and she goes above and beyond to create a healing and loving environment for these young children to learn and grow. Iām so proud of her.
I love being a teacher because you never know whatās gonna happen every day with the little ones. You always learn something new from the a and that is what I love!!!
I have been teaching for 24 years. I would not trade my job for anything. I absolutely love working with kids. They are the ones that keep me young. š
I love teaching because I get to see my students grow and become independent thinkers. I like seeing their love for math and like coming to school to learn.
I love teaching to help others learn and have a good experience. I started volunteering as a teachers assistant when i was 15 helping teach my grade down to Kindergarten! Once I graduated i took the courses needed and now teach at a private school when available! It brings me such joy to help someone else
teaching is my jam!! my favorite thing about it is the “click” moment when a student gets the subject we’re talking about.
