I am new to the app and not sure if I would qualify for this drawing. I do not have a teaching degree but I am a mom of 3 kiddos that I have homeschooled all of their life. I have two 4th graders and one kindergartner. I chose to homeschool for many reasons such as safety, religious, and scheduling. I love it so much because I know what and how they are learning and we (my husband and myself) agree that God gave us our children as a gift from him and I enjoy every minute with them.
I am a kindergarten teacher and I really enjoy being able to help these little minds grow and look forward to learning. To see their expressions when they figure something out and learn something new! Itâs fun and everyday itâs an adventure đ
When I think back to the many great moments Iâve experienced and shared while teaching, they remind me of the very reason I love what I do. This year for example, I was able to host and complete the most profitable book fair in our schoolâs history. This meant we would finally gain access to hundreds of new books the kids had requested in my suggestion box. Our school serves mainly underprivileged children and they seldom have access to literature outside of school. Well, when the order of new books arrived, I processed them immediately and announced their arrival. I have never seen so many kids fight to get through the doors and get their hands on those new book. Some thanked me over and over and one even told me âthis was the best dayâ of her life. My eyes welled up and my heart was full. Mission accomplished (for now – this was just the beginning of what I have planned). This is but one example of many, many moments that continue to remind me why I do what I do and how every ounce of effort put forth is a milestone we help each child to reach. đ
I am Middle School Teacher of Students with Disabilities. I have been in this field for over 10 years and I love what I do. The students achieving different milestones everyday makes teaching a joy. I also like to make my students smile everyday and make ny classroom a safe environment.
I have been in special needs classes with severely handicapped children for 25 years. They are mostly non verbal, but I love to see there excitement in the facial expressions and smile when they do something right.
I have been teaching high school for over 20 years. Everyday I wake up with the same passion to inspire and see the joy of learning in my studentâs eyes. I teach over 130 kids a day and every thing isnât peachy by any means but those few smiles from the heart are enough to keep me going. Everyday is a challenge but I truly love and respect all my students. Teaching is not for everybody but I know it is for me because I would die protecting my students.
I love being a teacher to my preschool students with special needs. I think teaching kids in a school setting with peers is so important especially as early as 3 years old. I learn something new from the students everyday, they keep me going. â„ïž
One of my fondest memories from this school year was seeing one of my students, who is usually shy and soft spoken, present her research project in front of the class. I’ve known her since she was in 3rd grade and she’s now 8th…and she has opened up over the years…but she was so articulate, she spoke loud enough for everyone to hear her, she was confident and knew her stuff! when she was done, looked at me and gave me a thumbs up with the biggest smile!! And I teared up!!! #proudmoment
Best part of being a teacher is seeing the kids smile and get excited when they finally get it. I also get the opportunity to make a difference in the childrenâs life. Sometimes they need someone who will listen to them and help them. I like to help all of my students with their problems to the best of my ability. And that is very rewarding đâșïž
I am a substitute. The reason I chose to be a substitute instead of a teacher who stays in one place is because I love teaching kids at all ages. Substitutes usually get a bad rep. I remember in my days no one ever cared or listened to the substitute. It’s challenging to get a student to actually pay you any attention. But when they see you have a good heart and your intentions are to help them they warm up to you. It’s always so nice to go back to a classroom and they get excited to see you again. â€ïž That impact, the smile, their lit up eyes, the excitement when they finally “get it” on an assignment: I live for that. đ€©
Not sure why my picture isn’t showing up. But if you check I have been a member for years and have the app installed đ
