I teach high school math. I taught freshman. A few weeks ago I ran into a student I had 6 years ago. He said he is glad I didn’t give up on him. He is now a firefighter and says he still misses the fun he had in my class.
I’m a 2nd grade teacher in West Memphis, AR. I’ve been teaching for 25 years. I love seeing that “light bulb” come on when they learn the concept I am teaching. Once my students always my students! Oh and I can’t forget to say that they always give the best HUGS! I absolutely love my students!!!
I have been teaching high school for 19 years and I learn something new everyday right along with the kids. My students are the best and so aren’t my colleagues. It’s a great atmosphere as a Bulldog!
I am in the early childhood education field. I have been teaching preschoolers for 16 years. The most rewarding part of my job is watching children grow and develop. I am able to nurture young children and offer many great learning experiences. Every day is a challenge but always have times of laughter and happiness when I see children explore and learn. It gives me the opportunity to help them learn in all aspect of development.
I love teaching because it gives me a chance to make a difference in little lives! There’s so many stories I have with my goofball students but the one I’m most proud of was when I was a floater. I went to different classrooms for a short periods of time. One student was a handful and I didn’t care for the way other teachers treated him so I gave him lots of extra care. One day he came to me proudly telling me he wants to use the potty (no one could get him to and he was still in pull ups) and when he did he jumped up and down with such excitement in his face I cried of joy like watching my own kids succeed!! That’s all we want after all <3 if it’s me being goofy rolling on floors with them, or giving tough love, I’m always going to love making a difference!
I am a prek teacher. My favorite part of the day is when my students are learning something new and they get the lightbulb moment that they finally understand something. I love it when my students struggle and then get the concept with some more support from their peers.
I’m a kindergarten teacher and love it. So many things make me feel this way. Teaching them how to spell their names, letters and numbers at the beginning of the year to now, seeing their amazing progress! Love it!
The best part is seeing them grow!
I am a 5th grade teacher, it is not always easy. Each of my students have different emotional and academic needs. It is a lot to juggle but, getting to school and seeing their faces, having our insider jokes, watching that “ah-ha” moment.. man, that really erases all other worries and heaviness. I absolutely love teaching and helping these little minds grow.
I teach 2nd grade and I love when I can get my students who have struggled in school to light up with excitement for learning!!
