I teach 3rd & they can be really funny. Several years ago I was giving a spelling test & I was gave the word in a sentence. The word was alone. The sentence was, When my son goes to his dads I am alone. A student blurts out there is an app for that. I reply an app for what? Another student chimes in and says yeah there is. At this point I am lost and I say what are you two talking about? One of the boys says, you said you are alone and the app you should get is Match.com I couldnât help but laugh out. The other boy blurts out and says you said your home alone and you wonât be if you get this app. You gotta love 3rd graders. âșïž
I love teaching because I love helping children grow.
Teaching is my passion, when I was a young girl I didnât have parents to teach me things growing up, I was in my own for everything. Teaching gives me a chance to show kiddos they arenât alone and i can help them âșïž
I love teaching because of the lasting impact I have on my students and their families. My first class I taught is graduating this year and the fact that Iâm receiving graduation announcements reminds me I have made a lifelong difference.
Teaching is a passion. Passion to help student to learn 21st century skills to get successful in their lives.
I have taught it all. Started with preschool, went to elementary, taught middle and have been in high school for 13 years. I love the for-life connections we can make. I love the fact that in two weeks we are having an alumni reunion and Iâll get to see my old students and will meet some of their significant others and even their little ones. Priceless!
I love teaching because itâs fun helping kids learn and and teaching them whatâs wrong and right.
I am a preschool teacher (for toddlers) and I love teaching because it is priceless to see a child’s eye light up when they achieve something new. Most of them come to my classroom before they can walk, so my favorite memory will always be when they first walk with me! They will not remember it, but I will đ„°
I’m in my 21st year teaching and my 15th year teaching virtual school students. I love the personal connections I get to make with my students and their families. I also love being able to work from home so that I have the privilege of homeschooling my own children.
I love teaching because itâs a passion. I love to see students faces brighten up when they learn something new or when they are passionate about a lesson! Itâs such an awesome feeling to know you are setting the foundation for future leaders!
Everyday my kids do something that makes me laugh…. I have been a special education teacher to kids with Autism for 20 years. It has been great and it has been challenging. I specialize in students on the moderate/severe end and it it something new everyday. One recent story is how one of my non-verbal students has recently started using sign language to communicate more effectively. I normally give them breaks after work periods and put music. He now gets so excited and signs I want more… and we let him chose a song… He loves it so much!!! One of the many reasons, I enjoy teaching.
