Why do you love teaching? or Share a nice memory you have with your students
It’s just something about the smile that someone gives you after that understand something… that’s a reward in itself!!!
I teach kindergarten and 1st graders with Autism. Every day is a beautiful disaster full of activity, wonder, and accomplishments that are huge to me and my students, but may seem small to anyone else. There is nothing that makes me happier than when they try a new food, put their hands into something with a new texture, or say words most take for granted, like “please” or “mom.” Mixing everyday learning with life skills is challenging and sometimes frustrating, but the rewards make it all worth it.
I love teaching because I can laugh with my students and I love our bond. We quote YouTube videos, vines, and tik toks during the lessons and brighten the mood. I teach 21 5th grade students, ten 3rd grade, and three 4th graders. One of my favorite memories has to be when one of my students called me old (I am only 22) and the entire class burst into tears at my response which was as old as milk straight from the udder one the grocery store shelf. There is nothing I would rather do in the entire world than spend my time in my classroom with my students.
I have been teaching k-5 elementary music for 21 years! I teach tiny musicians! They are hilarious, creative, fun and amazing! 🎵🎵🎵
I have taught early childhood for 23 years. I love teaching this age because I am the starting point for their education. I love the creativity and the imagination they have. I will say it’s not as creative as it was years ago, but they still have it.
I am a teachers assistant. I work with children that have special needs and behavioral and psychological issues, I love working with my group of kids because being able to teach them such a simple task or a every day life lessons, I feel a sense of accomplishment when they can complete a task or do something on their own without any directions for me. I feel like a proud parent. ☺️
I work at a school for kids with Autism, both verbal and nonverbal, in a secondary setting, basically 16-21 year olds. I love working with my students as they have taught me so much more then I could ever teach them!
I teach 4th grade! The best part of teaching is the kids!
I teach Kindergarten and they are my favorite people. I love their confidence and their stories but mainly watching them being able to accomplish so much.
I love teaching because it gives me the chance to teach my group of kids how they learn best as opposed to how typical schools force teachers to teach their children.
