I am a second grade teacher and I’m going into my ninth year in education field.
What I enjoy most about teaching is building relationships with my scholars. Being able to not only teach them but guide them with hardships in life! Being a positive light to my scholars through their dark times is my main motivation and inspiration. I’m so grateful for each and everyone of them because they have helped me as much as I have for them. Once you connect with them, you are able to actually teach them overall
I teach special education and have kids with varied learning disabilities, everything from mmr to sight readers to some behavioral students. My school uses the partial inclusion model, where students with disabilities learn alongside their non-disabled peers in general education classrooms. But my kids don’t learn with mainstream teaching. So I’m required to come up with subject lesson plans that accommodate each of my students different learning styles. It is quite the challenge at times! There is no ONE way to reach 6 different learning challenged kids!
But I love them so much! One of my little FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome) second graders struggled to learn basic letter sounds. One day I cut out some letters from sand paper. As soon as she FELT the letters she could remember the sounds! She soon started putting sounds together like c-a-t and realized she was reading! We danced for joy together in the hallway and she got so excited she burst into the classroom and insisted on reading to the class. Bless that sweet teacher’s heart. She gave her the stool in front of the room and Kara read the same three words over and over to the encouraged clapping from the other kids! There I stood with tears running down my face 🤣.
Love this ❤️🥰❤️
I’m a Sped teacher and it’s a challenge but rewarding job. I love seeing there curious minds grow. A lot of my kids come from rough backgrounds, so seeing them reach there goals and passing their limits brings joy and is truly a treasure.

I am a preschool teacher and love every day with my students, they teach me so much! Yes, we have tough days, but they’ve taught me such great patience and love! I wouldn’t change what do for the world!
I love my teaching because I know I am bettering someone’s life. Not only academically but emotionally and maybe even physically if they do not have a great home life. I know my students are safe with me. They know I would do anything for them and knowing each one of my kids are excited to come to school everyday is a win for me. I teach Kindergarten 💙💛
I love teaching because I feel like I make a difference in their lives. I am a young high school teacher and I feel like it helps them feel comfortable enough to ask me for advice when they need help with some problems and they always tell me they really appreciate me listening to their problems because they do not have anyone at home who will do that for them. Those are the things that I love to hear, and of course because I want all of my kids to succeed so I just love it.
I teach middle school virtually. Many students chose to remain online after the pandemic for a variety of reasons. I love that I can be a glimmer of positivity and encouragement in their day. They’re mental health is such a priority to me.
I love teaching because it feels great knowing I have made a difference in my student’s lives. I am a young high school teacher and I know the kids trust me a lot and often ask me for advice and always appreciate me being there for them to talk to because some of them don’t have anyone at home they can talk to and get advice like that.
I am an elementary paraprofessional. I love my job. It’s not easy, but it’s so worth it. When that kid that screams in your face because they are overcome with anger or frustration, gives you a picture that they made and says “because you’re my favorite!” It’s totally worth it.
