I love watching my students grow and change over the course of a school year. It makes it all worth it.
The reason I love being a special education teacher is because I get to help students like myself who struggle in the classroom. It brings me so much joy to see them grasping the material I am teaching them. It makes me and them better
I love seeing my students faces light up when they understand what is being taught to them and sharing with there family. Working with special needs students ranging from 5-9 has been a big blessing and learning experience. My favorite moment is that one of the student was swimming with me in his lesson and saw someone struggle with kicking and doing arm circles at the same time but was sinking a bit. He tried to help her and showed her how it’s done so that it won’t happen again.
I love teaching gifted and talented education because I get to have more flexibility and pick my own curriculum. A quote from one of my 3rd graders is: “Thank you for being nice and we can be free in your classroom. Thank you very much!”
The reason I love teaching is making a difference in the life of my students that other wise would not be able to have an opportunity for a better future. I advocate for my students and families when others give simply give up.
I’m a sped teacher! But my kiddos teach me, too. They make my heart SO full !!!
I am a kindergarten teacher and I love seeing how much they can achieve in just a year. Some of my students come to me without even being able to read and by the end of the year they are able to read and write full paragraphs. They are so precious and bring joy to me every day.
I love teaching because I am making a difference in their life whether they know it or not.
One of the greatest rewards of teaching is seeing the progress of your students. From when students understand a difficult concept, to helping my children learn a new skill, seeing their eyes light up after grasping a new piece of knowledge is priceless. I work with special education 4th 5th and 6th graders, which comes with its triumph and tribulations but my babies are unique and wonderful in their worn right. They keep you laughing and on your toes, there is never a dull moment. I will never get over the feeling you feel when a little of your work has paid off and you know they have learned their new material.
I teach kids with Autism and I have been teaching them since 2012. My joy of teaching them is watching them learn how to talk and read read sentences upon them coming not being able to say a word. Some of them have to be taught how to eat and walk holding their balance along with controlling their behaviors. It brings joy to my heart to see them come so far. I love my jobđź’“
I teach Spanish in high school currently, but I have taught all grades and levels in ESL and Spanish. The best thing about my job is seen that ah ha! moment when they actually get it and run with it because they feel so confident in the language. Seen them years later is even better when they come tell you what they have done with their lives and all they have achieved!
