I am in my first year teaching and it has been so much more challenging than I ever thought! In spite of that, it is so rewarding! Getting to work with students and watch their growth through the year has been phenomenal. I have one student who struggled adjusting to high school at first (I teach 9th graders). Celebrating the small successes with him and making sure he knows he has someone on his team has made all the difference. I watched him go from an F student in my class to a C student, which is huge growth!

I love teaching kindergartners especially literacy! Teaching a student how to read is the most rewarding experience. It’s so great seeing their progress from the begging to the end of the year. 👩🏫🍎
I love teaching in a teen moms High school because I was a teen mom too and I hated when people made fun of me or used to say that I have ruin my life. I love to my students thrive and learn together with their children. I remember this student who didn’t know how to read or write and for my birthday she wrote me a letter. She was so sweet and honest with her words. That was a great birthday present ❤️
I love teaching because it’s so rewarding. Seeing students’ faces light up when they grasp what I’m teaching is so inspiring. Watching kids grow and learn in so many aspects of their lives is so much fun.
I love those moments where students are making the connections! Building relationships with them makes my heart full!
