hello everyone, I am a preschool teacher who has been working at a Montessori school for about 5 years. I have finally decided to become a montessorian and take my Montessori training so I am super excited about that! a memory I would like to share is one that just happened today. My children love to show me their drawings and today when my child showed me their drawing, I responded ” wow Thank you for sharing this with me can you tell me about it”? and the child responded ” it’s a potato that reminds me to dig potatoes” after he said this I’m his adorable voice I responded ” okay do you have potatoes at home?” and the child responded “no..I just like potatoes 🥔” 😂 it was so cute! btw Incase anyone is interested I just found a journal where teachers can write down things their students say and because I recently realized the kids say the funniest and cutest things I decided to buy it on Amazon. 😁
Second year high school teacher, I teach CTE health science and my favorite things about teaching is sharing all of my hospital skills and knowledge with the students. While most curriculums have standards they have to stick by, my subject allows me the freedom to teach them beyond the textbook. One of my most favorite memories is having my students go outside and use sidewalk chalk to explain the circulatory system to me. Not only was the lesson fun, the were able to grasp all of the information. Since then, I do this with all of my classes.
I been teaching Early Childhood Education for almost 5 years. I enjoy seeing the kids in my class come in at the age of 3 and moving on to kindergarten at 5 years. Seeing them grow is an amazing feeling. Teaching them Abcs , writing their names. These kids are amazing and enjoy seeing them grow and learn.
This is my 16th year and it’s still magical. I became an Art Teacher to share the wonder of creativity with children. I’m blown away every year by their talent and imagination.
I love teaching because I love getting to know each child’s personality and interests. There’s nothing quite like the pure joy of a child and there’s never a boring day. ❤️
This is my 3rd year teaching my daughter for homeschool and my 1st year being a teacher for a co-op of fellow homeschool students. I was so worried when I began this process but over the past 3 years I have had more rewarding memories than I have had my whole life. I love the closeness of my children and I and how me being their teacher has improved our relationship. One of my most favorite memories of homeschooling my daughter is when she first began reading on her own! One day out of nowhere she brought a small chapter book to our improv class at our home and read an entire chapter to me. I was blindsided! it will always be little moments like that one that I look forward to with homeschooling my daughter and son!! Thank you so much Tina and team for all you do for so many. I honestly use your app as a stress reliever and wind down after a stressful day. So thank you for everything!!!
I have been a preschool teacher for 15 years. My very first class I taught, they’re graduating from high school this year. My favorite memory with one of the kids is; a child was non-verbal (when they were 4, they could hear though) I learned some sign language & we bonded over that. They learned to talk over the year. The child is 18 now & every time I seem they still call me “Ms. Cassidy” 💕
I’m a first-year teacher and I can tell you that I have the best experience with my students. They would come in every morning with a bright smile on their face and ready to learn. What I love about teaching is seeing each child grow. Not just their development, but who they become when they first walked in till now. Spending time with them is the best thing. I always remind my students they are amazing, they are awesome, they are smart and they are important.
This is my first year teaching and I absolutely love it! I teach second grade so these are the COVID babies this year. The progress and work ethic I have seen from them has been amazing. Some have gone from only identifying 3 letter words to now fluently reading second grade material. That is my proudest memory from this year!
I’ve worked in education for 22 years and I love education for light I see in my kids’ (students) eyes when they learn something new and the ability I have to instill a love learning & coming to school when that light has disappeared. One of my favorite memories was on Feb. 14, 2017. I asked my students to write about what love meant to them. This is what one particular student wrote:
