Tina’s Fav Garlic Green Beans:
Ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoon – Margarine or Butter
- 10-16oz Fresh Green Beans – 1 Bag
- 1 pack Cherry or Grape Tomatoes (Grape ones are larger and juicier)
- 1 bunch of Parsley
- 4 cloves Garlic
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder
Directions:
- In a pasta pot, add enough water that would cover the beans (like you’re boiling pasta). Bring water to boil.
- Prep: As the water comes to a boil, trim the ends of green beans. Cut the little tomatoes in half. Finely chop the parsley. Slice or Mince the Garlic.
- Blanch the Beans: Once the water boils, toss in the beans and cook for 2 minutes. Take the beans out and set aside.
- Heat a large pan on medium heat with Country Crock Margarine
- Add tomatoes to pan. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook and gently toss for 2 minutes
- Add green beans to the pan with tomatoes. Toss for 2 minutes. (Optional) Add a pinch of salt to taste.
- Add garlic and parsley (save some parsley for garnish). Cook for 30 seconds.
- Done! Garnish with remaining parsley.
