Tip Your Amazon Driver is back!!!
Starting today, December 12th, Amazon gives a $5 promotion to the driver when a customer says “Alexa, thank my driver.” – no cost to the customer! Many customers say that the many ways delivery drivers make their lives better. Now, for every thank you from customers, drivers will receive an additional $5. This promotion will continue through the first 2 million thank-you’s received.
The program is available to customers in the United States with an Alexa-enabled device or the Alexa or Amazon Shopping mobile apps. So, to thank you to your holiday heroes, take a look here!

Shame it doesn’t include UPS & USPS….they deliver to my house at least 2-3 times a week and all my kids are grown and living in different states! 😁

Tried to do this through the app but it didn’t tell me if they would get it or not? Do we get some sort of notification?

Here’s what I’ve found in the FAQs you may find helpful – “To confirm that your “thank you” has been processed and $5 will be sent to the driver, Alexa will respond, “Glad you enjoyed your most recent delivery. Since you shared your appreciation with your driver, as a special thanks this holiday season, your driver will receive an extra $5 at no cost to you. This promotion is for a limited time only.” You will not be charged anything when you thank your driver.”
It actually didn’t say anything :/ I tried several times and the Alexa button just turned blue then turned off. Weirdly I know it was working because I asked Alexa to help me with another task and it did. It just never confirmed with me anything else. :/ hopefully it went through
That’s so strange. It might be just a glitch. I suggest you contact Amazon’s customer support and ask them if they could help you out with it. If you do, please let me know how it went, okay?
