What is Amazon Access?
Amazon Access is the online retailer’s new information hub, displaying every cost-cutting service accessible on Amazon in one spot. These options include using Amazon Subscribe & Save, Amazon Layaway, reduced Prime subscriptions, and more.
The hub also includes alternate methods, such as utilizing Amazon Cash, for picking up and paying for your Amazon orders. If you don’t have a debit or credit card, you can still shop on Amazon.com using Amazon Cash since you can pick up your items in person and pay with cash.
It also states that you can share some of the advantages of Prime Access with other adults living in your Amazon household.
Reapply Every 12 Months for a Discounted Prime Membership
If you’re taking advantage of Amazon Prime Medicaid or EBT discount or any other government assistance discount, then you’ll have to reapply for the 50% off discount every 12 months. Please note you’d have to snap a photo of your Medicaid or EBT card. This is to make sure you’re still eligible to receive the discounted Prime membership.
Don’t have an EBT Card?
If you are not part of any of the assistance programs you can still start your free 30-day trial! It’s best to start the trial right before Prime Day or Black Friday so you can take advantage of Amazon’s best sales! You can always cancel after if you don’t want to continue.
Start Your Discounted Prime Membership w/ Free 30-day Trial

Hey! I’m not sure I understand. What “subject” do you mean exactly? Please let me know! I’ll see where I can help.
I wish teachers got a discount for Prime
Thank you Jasmine for all your help! You are a sweetheart!
Awww! You just made my day Rhonda!
I’m going to call them tomorrow
With having an EBT card, I actually started my Prime membership at $1 the first week then the 50% off but you also get some of the eligible food for up to 50% off. Thank you FSF for all your hard work finding these great deals 🙌
You’re so welcome Lisa! I’m really glad that you scored and that you find the deals we share so helpful!
Amazon blocked my account because I had a hacker. I can’t open my account with the same phone number Do you know if I can open my account with a landline?
Hey Rhonda! I’m not sure either. Have you tried contacting their customers service? I’m sure they’ll be able to help. Please let me know how it goes 🤞
I have contacted them several times and they tell me that if I don’t have a second phone number I can’t open another account. It wasn’t my fault.
I’m sorry to hear about the inconvenience, Rhonda. I hope that Amazon can find an alternative option that allows you to proceed.
You CAN use your land line!! Change the spelling (slightly) in your name! Instead of “Rhonda K.”, change it to: “R. and and use your full last name”! It’s nothing illegal, so you have nothing to worry about!!
Hello how did you get your prime down to one dollar?i would love to get that since I’m on a fixed income
