If you often shop at Dollar Tree, you might have noticed some items with higher price tags. You will usually find frozen and refrigerated products for $3 to $5 and assortment of pet items, personal care, food, home and seasonal decor ranging from $2 to $5.
Last year, the store increased their Dollar Plus section’s price cap to $5 and this year it’s going up to $7. They are expecting to expand their multi-price assortment across 3,000 stores by over 300 items at prices ranging from $1.50 to $7 which will impact the prices of food, pet, and personal care items.
In addition to this news, Dollar Tree announced that it would close nearly 1000 branded stores. They will shut down 600 Family Dollar stores in the first half of 2024, and 370 other stores over the next years. For more details about this, go here!
Atp just change the name
Most of the stuff is not worth the price as to what you are getting I can see them not making it with more price increases
I think they are testing the price increases to see customer response to maybe potentially be able to close down more or all of the remaining Family Dollars and blend them into one store. 🤷♀️ just a thought
Their prices are going up meanwhile the sizing of the items (food) is shrinking. I went in there yesterday and the size of most of the brand name chips are the size of the 2 for $1 at other stores.
They about to go out of business
They should change their name at this point lol
I was thinking the same thing. How can they call themselves “DOLLAR” Tree if it’s not a DOLLAR anymore.
