Epic Games agreed to a class action settlement to resolve claims about unwanted charges. The company has charged many customers for unwanted in-game items and even locked access to accounts who disputed the wrongful charges with their credit card companies.
Through January 17 2024, you may apply for a refund if you got charged in-game currency, namely V-Bucks, for items you didn’t want between January 2017 and September 2022, your child bought something in Fortnite with your credit card without your knowledge between January 2017 and November 2018 and if your account was locked after complaining to your credit card company about wrongful charges. Note that you need to be at least 18 years old to request a refund and that the refund amount is unknown at this time. Submit a claim here!
