Through the T-Mobile Project 10Million initiative, approved families will receive 100GB of mobile data to access the internet per year (for 5 years), and a free mobile hotspot which is shipped for free. Families that have a student enrolled in the National School Lunch Program will be eligible for this offer! Note that the enrollment is open through August 30th. Check the eligibility here!
Program Overview:
- New and existing T-Mobile, as well as Non-T-Mobile customers, are eligible to apply.
- 100GB/year data line and one free T-Mobile hotspot device per household, max one per student.
- Data service ends when allotment is reached (additional data passes are available for purchase).
- Available to residents of the United States and Puerto Rico.
- May purchase up to five select (at-cost Wi-Fi-only tablets and laptops for use with the hotspot device)
Requirements:
Proof of enrollment in the National School Lunch Program dated from the 2019 school year to the present, and can also be verified through participation in any of these government programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) via P-EBT or EBT
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
- Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
- Medicaid
- Head Start
- Foster youth, migrant, homeless, or runaway youth
- Also, your student’s school district and ID number.
- And basic contact information.
Note: Since so many people have signed up for Project 10Million, those approved for the program may experience shipping delays of approximately 60 to 90 days.

I just walked in to a T-Mobile store for more answers and the guy was extremely helpful.. because of the high demand for this it will take some time to receive it however we will receive it

If you do it online it should only take about a week or two I got one and recommend friends all recently applied and got it
I wish this could qualify for college students receiving grants as well.
I am a college student and I was approved . You have to fit more then just that requirement
Our county offers free lunch to the whole county woukd I stillbe eligible even if we are not on the actuaries lunch program

Took two months for it arrived for me if anyone is asking. Once approved it is usually between 60-90 Days for it to get shipped and once shipped about 1-3 days. Thats what the representative told me and exactly what happened for me.
