Starting December 1st, Michael’s 12 Days of Holiday Workshops are back! These workshops feature free online craft classes for kids, and hands-on activities led by skilled instructors to keep your kids busy during this holiday season. This initiative sparks imaginations and provides a rewarding learning experience for young minds of all ages.
You will be able to enjoy free workshops every day from December 1st through December 12th! There are three ways to participate; via Zoom classes, by viewing the pre-recorded videos, or by just following the written instructions for each project. Classes are recommended for kids 6+.
When you sign up, you will receive a reminder email 24 hours before the start of the class with the links to attend the class. Please note that while online classes are free, you will need to get the necessary supplies by yourself (find supply lists on the individual project pages, complete with costs). Sign up now!

they changed this coming Sunday class to Saturday morning around my area, so check out your local store to make sure the time
Thank you for the tip Chelsey!
From what I was told, they donât prepare for any events and just look at the materials the day of or at the start of the event. So if itâs easy you might have an ok time but if itâs a difficult one, you have to wait for them to figure it out even if the event already started. Lastly, no sign up is necessary apparently. They will take just about anyone who walks in
Really??! Sign-up isn’t necessary? They have the booking page on their website, tho. Or maybe it varies? Like if there aren’t many attendees, then they would allow walk-ins. But thank you for sharing this!
Signed up, thank you!
Yay! You’re so welcome!
Yay booked it, my toddler is going to love painting
Was super excited to attend today! Made it in, and they didnât even have a normal sized table for us to work on. Instructor did no instructing and they were already out of red and pink paper by 2:20. Our instructor was nose deep in her phone and was not engage with the event what so ever. Just made a quick little something and bounced. đ
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. That sounds terrible đ
Thank you I signed my family up for February such a fun activity for the kids to do
It sounds like fun! Glad to hear you signed up your family!
Aw. I love crafts
Some classes are free some arenât. Some are in person and some still on Zoom. Also~bc we live in Utah MOST are on Saturdays here no Sundays! PLEASE check your locations and prices for the best adventure! (Utah)
Thank you for adding that! Yes, offers and availability can vary per location so I would also suggest calling your local store before heading out to confirm.
Thank you for sharing!

first result here is they’re not having it today because they had a few people call out sick so they had to cancel it. đ
I let them know that this is being advertised on 3rd party places so just letting him know that people make show up if they’re not making sure everyone knows it’s canceled which is sad cuz I was going to take my girls..
I had called to double check about the class today just in case and also had questions about the registration online because it’s asking you to enter all the guests, emails and phone numbers and it won’t let you enter the registration without them which doesn’t make sense for the kids..
I also let them know that as well as another area says you don’t have to register you can just come and go and u don’t have to cancel.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear it wasn’t available at your Michaels. Good thing you called before heading out! Do you have another Michaels store nearby? Cause if you have, I would suggest calling them too to ask if they’re having the event so your girls can participate.
