There is a website called Privacy.com that allows you to generate a virtual credit card for each individual merchant (mine is attached to my checking acct). Then you set the spend amount, so scammy subscription companies can’t keep charging. I also use PayPal, where you can cancel the subscription payments from your PP acct.
