Big Lots announced plans to close 149 stores across 28 states due to financial difficulties. However, up to date, the numbers hit 315 locations that would shut their doors in more than 30 states. The company also has a net loss of $1.7 billion! Dollar Tree, which acquired Family Dollar nearly a decade ago, has not released a comprehensive list of the locations it is closing but many of the stores are already offering sales of up to 75% off since Monday, March 18th.
