Tax Free weekends are here and it’s time for back-to-school season! Everyone is excited about Sales Tax Holidays because during this time you can save money by shopping tax-free on select items like school supplies, computers, clothing, and more. Many online retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target participate as well. Please note that each state may have specific items that are not eligible, so make sure to check out their lists.

- Florida July 29 – August 11 – clothing up to $60/item, backpacks up to $60/item, school supplies up to $15/item, computers up to $1,000/item.
- Maryland August 11 – 17 – clothing & shoes up to $100/item, the first $40 of a backpack purchase.
- Massachusetts August 10 – 11 – retail items of up to $2,500, purchased in Massachusetts for personal use
- Texas August 9 – 11 – clothing and shoes up to $100/item, school supplies & backpacks up to $100/item.
Alabama July 19 – 21 – clothing up to $100/item, computers up to $750/item, school supplies up to $50/item, books up to $30/item.Arkansas August 3 – 4 – clothing and footwear up to $100/item, accessories under $50, select school/art supplies, select books )workbooks, textbooks), electronic devices (no maximum)Iowa August 2 – 3 – clothing & footwear for $100/item.Mississippi July 12 – July 14 – clothing & footwear up to $100/item, school supplies up to $100/item.Missouri August 2 – 4 – clothing & shoes up to $100/item, school supplies up to $50/transaction, computer equipment up to $1,500/item, graphing calculators under $150/item, computer software up to $350/item.Ohio July 30 – August 8 – clothing & shoes up to $75/item, school supplies up to $20/item.Oklahoma August 2 – 4 – clothing & shoes up to $100/item.South Carolina August 2 – 4 – clothing, shoes, school supplies, computers, books, bedding, diapers, musical instruments (no limit stated).Tennessee July 26 – July 28 – clothing up to $100/item, school supplies up to $100/item, computers up to $1,500/item.Virginia August 2 – 4 – school supplies up to $20/item, clothing up to $100/item.West Virginia August 2 – 5 – clothing up to $125/item, school supplies up to $50/item, sports equipment up to $150/item, computers/tablet up to $500/item.
