It’s that time of the year again where we celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Week. Through May 12th, educators across the country will be recognized for their hard work and dedication to shaping young minds. To honor this special occasion, many restaurants and businesses are offering freebies and discounts to all teachers.

Free Colgate Classroom Kits
Kindergarten and first-grade teachers! Colgate is offering a free Bright Smiles Bright Futures Kit that you can request for your classroom. The kit is full of easy-to-use classroom materials that support curriculum standards, plus Colgate toothpaste and toothbrush samples for students! All you need to do is go to this page and fill out the request form. Do note that the kits need to be sent to a school address.
FREE Supply Kit
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, Staples is giving educators a free supply kit & 20% off purchases with your teacher ID! Offer is available from May 5th to May 11th, at participating locations while supplies last. Thres is a limit to 20 kits per store. Check availability at your local store!
FREE Margaritaville at Sea Cruise
Margaritaville at Sea is offering free 3-day Sailings to the Bahamas! They invite all active and veteran military, first responders, law enforcement officers, and educators to sail free on a 3-day, 2-night cruise to Grand Bahama Island. Applebee’s
Through May 13th, teachers (with valid ID) who dine-in at Applebee’s during National Teacher’s Appreciation Week will receive a free dessert with any purchase. Plus, you’ll get a voucher for a BOGO free entree for a future order. You can redeem the voucher from May 13th through June 9th.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Last year, in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week, all teachers and school faculty got 20% off their meals at Buffalo Wild Wings when they present their faculty ID. Offer is valid for dine-in, call-in, and walk-in orders only.
Costco
Sign up for a Costco membership and receive a Shop Card. New Executive members will receive a $40 Shop Card, while Gold Star members will get a $20 Shop Card. Get yours here!
Pluckers Wing Bar
Every Friday, from 3 PM to 7 PM teachers and school staff can enjoy a free appetizer at Pluckers Wing Bar. You must show your staff badge to a Plucker’s team member for this freebie!
FREE Zollipops
For a limited time only, teachers and other educators can get free Zollipops for their entire class! This offer is made possible by Zolli’s Million Smile Initiative, a campaign aimed at encouraging children to talk and learn about taking care of their bodies. If you are a teacher or educator, simply go to the Zolli website and fill out the form. Then watch the mail and wait for your Zollipops to arrive! Super easy deal!
FREE School Supplies
If you teach at a school that’s at least 50% qualified for the National School Lunch Program, you can get access to free school supplies! Kids in Need Foundation offers eligible teachers up to 24 boxes full of school supplies like pencils, notebooks, erasers, and more. Check out the details here!
Also, check out Expensify – they will reimburse teachers (who work at min. 900 hours per school year) 50% for school supplies. Visit their site for full instructions on how to register and submit receipts (reimbursement of up to $50 per expense).
Dickey’s BBQ Pit

Dunkin’ Donuts:
Dunkin’ Rewards members can enjoy a $3 medium Dunkin’ Refresher every day, including during Teacher Appreciation Week. You can reedem it once per day.
Eyemart Express
Any school employee (including educators, nurses, custodial staff, food service, even bus drivers) at an accredited public or private school PK -12, college, or university will be able to get a 20% discount (in store only) at Eyemart Express! You need to have a proper school ID and this offer is valid year-round.
McAlister’s Deli
Through May 12th, any teacher that visits McAlister’s Deli can score a free Big Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea, ½ Sweet & ½ Unsweet Tea, or ½ Lemonade & ½ Sweet/Unsweet Tea (excluding flavor shots). No purchase is necessary, you just need to show a valid badge or ID. Do note that you need to order in person to get this freebie.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
